Rail Corridor Scheduling Optimization and Dynamic Ticketing

RESEARCH_DOCUMENT_VIEWER.EXE

1. Abstract

We evaluate real-time passenger capacity flow, dynamic routing algorithms, and API latency on the Lagos-Ibadan western rail corridor, serving as the empirical foundation for the GoRaila passenger transit engine.

2. Transit Infrastructure Constraints

Passenger congestion and physical terminal bottlenecks occur when ticketing systems operate in isolation from live train scheduling data. High peak-hour demand requires adaptive capacity allocation and sub-second ticket validation.

3. Algorithmic Routing & Verification

GoRaila implements dynamic load-balancing across passenger corridors. Encrypted QR ticket validation is handled locally on mobile terminals using offline-resilient verification keys, synchronizing with the central ledger when connectivity is established.

4. Deployment Results

Field deployment on active rail lines demonstrated a sub-15ms route calculation latency and eliminated physical terminal ticketing queues during peak transit hours.
