We sought a Senior Embedded Engineer to architect and refine the firmware and hardware telemetry layers powering YieldConnect soil grids and TransitHub corridor transceivers.
Core Responsibilities
- Architect and lay out custom multi-layer PCBs optimized for electrical grid fluctuations.
- Write low-overhead, memory-efficient RTOS driver firmware in C/C++ for ARM Cortex microcontrollers.
- Optimize power cycles, network mesh connections, and fallback telemetry protocols.
- Review circuit schematics and compile rigorous hardware unit tests.
Technical Requirements
- 3+ years of professional embedded firmware development (C/C++, FreeRTOS, Bare-Metal).
- Practical experience designing PCB layouts (KiCad, Altium, or equivalent tools).
- Familiarity with low-power transceiver protocols (LoRa, BLE, MQTT, CoAP) on cellular grids.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent systems experience.
